It's Not About the Score

Don't get us wrong—we care about the winners…but to us, that means the people who will benefit by the charities we support. Every year, we donate the proceeds of this charity event to local charities. To-date, we have donated proceeds from the 2010 charity golf event to the following charities:

• Camp 'I Am Me'  — $5,000 (plus another $5,000 company match)
• Pediatric Alternatives in Creative Therapy (PACT) — $5,000 (plus another $5,000 company match)
• Health Care Network(plus another $2,000 company match) — $2,000
• Partners for Progress — $2,000 (plus another $2,000 company match)
• Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital's Rehabilitative Services — $1,500
• American Cancer Society — $1,500
• Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue — $1,500
• Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association — $1,500
• The Lake County Haven — $1,000
• VISTA Health Services Pediatric Ward — $1,000
• Love INC — $1,000
• Lake County PADS — $600

We thank the more than 35 sponsors and dozens of VW Credit, Inc employees who donated cash and prizes last year. More than 150 golfers and two dozen VW Credit, Inc. employee volunteers participated last year in the scramble-format tournament at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, IL. Every golfer in the 2011 charity golf event will have a shot at winning a new Audi and two Volkswagens. We will offer three chances to win the vehicles with a hole-in-one contest on regular Par 3 holes. We hope that you can join us as a sponsor, a golfer, or both!
